MacDonald’s may have “le Big Mac”. But Stormz as well is now able to produce before you its fore-running product, its iconic service. Only one winy-tiny difference: we make our own ingredients ourselves!
What are we talking about, precisely?
Well quite simply enough about a somewhat off-the-wall collaborative workshop, as original as they come, and perfectly tailored to face all “vision” issues. In the long and glorious lineage of agile games, the History of Future will enable you and your team to work on your strategy, product or project. Following a carefully thought-out 4 steps process, you will travel through space and time to summon up as a team the best actions to carry out in order to implement and achieve the ambitious goals you set out for your company. Navigate through the obstacles, find out your strengths, all of which will take place in a dynamic sharing atmosphere of reciprocal growth and self-enriching.
Mixing technology with methodology.
The iPad often plays a central role in our workshops. But not as a mild little gadget! Oh no, what we use it for is much, much more interesting and fulfilling (for the iPad as well): it gathers and memorizes the very best of each and every single contributions among the teams.
As a supporting pillar for our discussions, we give out a “space map” to all participants. We have asked our dedicated illustrator Sophie Martineau to help us capture and represent this History of the Future.
But concretely, how does it work ?
- Your firm or specific project is symbolised by the space shuttle.
- Many trends appear along your path: attracting forces, black holes or gas giants, all of which can be found nearby the maps handed out to stir the brainstorming process. The goals and achievements yearned for are the unknown and yet unchartered planets on the right of the map.
- But the journey wasn’t a piece of cake! The shuttle must pass through and survive many obstacles (asteroid fields…).
- Hopefully, it is equipped with strong engines (the strengths of your company) to help you go on on your journey.
- Finally, we come back to the very start of this adventure: the actions and decisions which initiated this voyage are illustrated by the launching pad at the far left of the map.
A playful, yet pragmatic experience.
What we wish to achieve with this workshop is to free the participants from their everyday routine environment thanks to a fun atmosphere. By looking past the horizon into an ideal future, far away from the daily constraints, they will be able to imagine much more freely and creatively worthy and pertinent ideas. By looking backwards in the past, they will be able to turn a project into concrete and pragmatic measures, to implement as soon as tomorrow! The sharing experience, during which collective intelligence can express itself freely are also essential to our approach. Time for discussion in small groups is guaranteed at every step, using the “good old” post-its. Then, we use the iPad to work over and improve the best inputs of the seminar. The days of staggering and painful transcriptions are over, as the Stormz application memorizes everything itself.
